Maxi Skirt Re-Do + 200 Plus



Hey ladies,

Well today I wanted to retry the maxi skirt look. I will also be using this outfit as my submission for Fridays Bloggers Do It Better: Maxi Skirt challenge. Both Kiah and Antonia suggested that next time I try this, to try it with a smocked waist maxi. So I did this time and I like it much better. Thanks ladies for the awesome suggestion.

Boy do I look tired in these pics I should have put my sunglasses on lol. I rushed this morning to take these pics.


Last night after work I was so tired, I went to straight to sleep when I got home. Of course that nap led to me being wide awake at 1am. And I didn't get back to sleep until after 5 this morning. I hate when that happens.

Blazer: Thrifted   Tank: H&M   Maxi Dress worn as skirt/Necklace: Forever21   Belt from shirt: Ashley Stewart   Wedges: Dots   Clutch: Aldo
I wanted to wear this look with flats but I couldn't find my coral gap sandals, so I threw on these comfy wedges. Once I got in my car I noticed my sandals were in there so I'm actually wearing those instead.

Today, I reached 200+ followers!!! Once again thank you all so much for following me. I really appreciate it!! To all my newbies, HELLO and Welcome.....!!! MUAH!

    LOVE THIS! I don't have very much luck with finding maxi skirts or dresses that are the length or fit I want, but I'm going to keep looking :-). I love that you put that pink blazer on with it...FAB!!

    Yes girl blogger says the same about me. I think it is because I opened the account and started a blog called "THE SEMINARY WIFE" but then I changed it to "FROM THE REZ TO THE CITY" and obviously Blogger starts from the date you opened the account. So proud of you. You are influencing many and you are the perfect person to do so...YOU GO GIRL (in my Martin to Gina voice)! lol Kiah

    Okay, I thought the skirt was pretty on its own in the first pic, but then you added the blazer and I thought outfit perfection.

    Another great clutch. I almost picked this up on Friday lol. Aldo has some great stuff and the sales make it even better. Love the beading and cut of your top. Adds a bit of bedazzle to your look. You know I love the blazer!
