Simply Chic is a great example of classic and effortless style. She definitely has a way with pairing classic pieces with an unexpected twist. What I love most about Simply Chic is her ability to keep things stylish without over accessorizing or complicating her looks! I’m always excited to see what she’ll wear next!

What prompted you to start your blog?

Believe it or not the name Simply Chic is the reason I started my blog. My professional background is in marketing and merchandising so I like branding and I felt like the brand/name “Simply Chic” really fit me. At the time I was following a lot of girl’s with very eclectic styles and I didn’t think anyone would care what I wore day to day because my style was more classic. But once the name “Simply Chic” came to me, I felt like I could be true to my style and build my blog and brand around that name. 

What are your fashion must haves?

Sticking with the simply chic theme, for the most part, my must haves are all basics. I love white and off white tops, anything from t-shirts, to tanks, to blouses. Blazers in neutrals and fun colors will take you a long way. I also think outerwear is important, so a good fitting trench coat, leather jacket and denim jacket are key. And because I like to do a lot of basics, I have a closet full of funky heels and pretty scarves to bring in the chic. 

How would you describe your style?

That’s easy…SIMPLY CHIC. 

What's the one thing you enjoy most about being a blogger?

With the whole process of blogging, my favorite part is sorting through and editing my photos (my least favorite part is taking the photos). In terms of being a blogger I would have to say my favorite part is reading everyone’s lovely comments and feeling a sense of community within the blogging world.
