Springtime: White Jeans and Fur

It's springtime but it is still very much winter around these parts. It's hard to believe that last year Michigan was breaking weather records with highs in the 80s and this year we're barely hitting 40 this time of year, but hey it's typical Michigan weather.

I am glad that I braved the cold to participate in the Eboni's of The Fashionista Next Door challenge "Style Me Friday" each week Eboni posts the inspirational look and everyone links up. This is my first time linking up and I'm so excited!

The great thing I like about Style Me Friday is that your outfit doesn't have to be a literal interpretation of the inspiration and that everyone can link up, even if you don't have a blog. I can't wait to link up again!

Oh yes, so if you follow me on Instagram, you've seen my new hair, which I'm loving!! I wanted to try out a protective style for my natural hair and I thought box braids (Poetic Justice braids, or dookie braids is what I called them back in the day) would be fun to try, plus I get to rock the blogger top knot or high bun! I'm seriously loving my hair!

I hope you can't tell I'm freezing to easily in these pics! Brrr!
