I Am Torrid: Fall Fashion Preview

While in New York, I had the opportunity to attend the I am Torrid Fall Fashion Preview and it was great! The event was very welcoming and allowed bloggers an opportunity to mingle, have a cocktail and hour'derve or two and try on the new and improved new arrivals from the upcoming fall collection from Torrid.  The event was hosted by Jessica Kane of Life and Style of Jessica, who is also the founder of Skorch Magazine and held in a penthouse loft in Manhattan!

 I learned of this event while in New York and was excited to be accepted on the guestlist to attend but boy was I exhausted this day! I ended up getting turned around the subway and was a bit late for the event. I was glad I opted for a light a comfy look, because I was pretty hot and bothered by the time I found my way, lol. Although, I don't particularly care for this look, I received lots of love on it! Everyone especially loved the skirt, which is from the straight size at H&M and is super super stretchy and would work for the curvy girl! Proving that you should definitely try everything on! I may do a further post about it, later!

Brittany of Pockets and Bows!

I had the oppurtunity to meet many of the bloggers that I admire including, Kiah of From the Rez and the City, Chastity of Garner Style Gabi of Gabifresh, Brittany of Pockets and Bows, Sandy of CurvEnvy (so sad we didn't get a picture) and of course reunited with all my other blogger boos that I'd met earlier in the week! It's always a ton of fun and laughs, when we link up! Meeting the other bloggers, has to be the highlight of my week in New York!

From what I understand Torrid had a similar event last year with bloggers and Torrid has really listened to their suggestions and feedback and made many improvements to the cut and quality of the garments! Kudos to them!
