Vegan Buy + Try: Ben + Jerrys Caramel Almond Brittle

Hey yall, I hope you've had a great week! I wanted to let you guys know that you can not only expect my stylish and chic outfit posts around here but I've also wanted to sneak in a few lifestyle posts here and there. I originally shared my meal prep ideas and workout tips, so this should be a welcome addition for you guys!  What do you think?

and don't just scroll but read my captions, hehe, then, you know that I participated in the Daniel Fast for 40 days during Lent with my church and I have since decided to become Vegan! I have been meat, dairy and animal by product free for 57 days now and it feels amazing and can I just mention how proud of myself I am?! 

So, as I explore new menu options, I will now be sharing my "Vegan Buy + Try of the Week" weekly on Fridays.

Now, I had already convinced myself that when the fast was over, I would need to find some awesome vegan snacks to make this thing work as the fast also eliminated sugar...so I was in desperate need of some sort of sweet indulgence. I was excited when my co-worker shared this with me! 

So let's get going with the first Vegan Buy + Try of the Week!

Ben + Jerry's Non Dairy Pints: Caramel Almond Brittle

Pros: The texture and taste are great! If this was mixed in with other flavored dairy ice creams, I probably would not be able to tell that this one is made from almond milk at all. I loved that the salted caramel didn't overpower the dessert as I find most salted desserts do.  What a great balance of sweet and salty. Ben & Jerry's really made me happy with the texture of this cream. I think I'm in love. These would also be a great option for anyone lactose intolerant as well.

Cons:  These come pint sized and I really wish that they were in a gallon sized carton, lo, don't worry that's my sweet tooth talking. Ben +  Jerry's definitely knew the best way to leave you coming back for more!
